Chinese Two-Wheeler Giant QJ Motor Unveils SRK 800 RR Sportbike in Europe

QJ Motor SRK 800 RR

Chinese motorcycle manufacturer QJ Motor has officially revealed its new high-performance sportbike, the SRK 800 RR, in Europe. This fully-faired, inline-four motorcycle sits above the SRK 600RR in the company’s sportbike lineup, signaling QJ Motor’s push into the premium motorcycle segment.

QJ Motor first entered the motorcycle market in 2005 after acquiring the renowned Italian brand, Benelli. Initially, QJ used the Benelli TNT 600’s platform to create its own sportbike, the SRK 600RR, which was launched in 2020. However, the SRK 800 RR departs from that trend, featuring a brand-new engine developed specifically for this model. The bike is powered by a 778cc, inline four-cylinder engine producing 101 bhp, providing ample power for a thrilling riding experience.

Hardware and Design

The QJ SRK 800 RR comes with an upmarket hardware package that sets it apart in the sportbike category. The bike is built on a steel trellis frame, which offers both rigidity and flexibility for superior handling. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels and is equipped with Marzocchi USD forks and an adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear, ensuring excellent ride quality and adjustability for different road conditions. Furthermore, the motorcycle is fitted with a premium Brembo braking system with four-piston radial calipers, providing precise stopping power.

In terms of design, the SRK 800 RR borrows cues from Italian motorcycles, particularly the Ducati Panigale series. Its aggressive front end features large, angular dual-pod headlamps, while massive winglets on the fairing enhance its aerodynamics. The rear of the bike is characterized by an upswept, stubby tail section, giving it a sporty and agile appearance. These design elements combine to make the SRK 800 RR an attractive option for sportbike enthusiasts.

QJ Motor’s Presence in India

While the SRK 800 RR has made waves in Europe, QJ Motor’s presence in India is currently limited to four models: the SRK 400, SRC 250, SRV 300, and SRC 500. As of now, there are no immediate plans to introduce the SRK 800 RR or expand its Indian lineup further, but the bike’s launch could indicate a future possibility.

With its impressive specs and design, the QJ Motor SRK 800 RR is poised to become a formidable player in the global sportbike market.
