Hero MotoCorp Discontinues Xpulse 200T and Xtreme 200 4V

Hero Xpulse 200T and Xtreme 200 4V

Hero MotoCorp has recently discontinued two of its motorcycle models, the Xpulse 200T and the Xtreme 200 4V. While an official statement from the company is still awaited, dealers have confirmed the discontinuation.

The Xpulse 200T, a more road-focused version of the popular Xpulse 200 adventure bike, has struggled to gain traction in the market. Its 17-inch alloy wheels, lower handlebar, and center-set footpegs positioned it as a more comfortable commuter. However, it failed to match the popularity of its adventure-oriented sibling.

Similarly, the Xtreme 200 4V, a semi-faired motorcycle, also faced challenges in the competitive Indian market. Despite its 199.6cc engine and 19 bhp power output, it couldn’t capture the attention of buyers.

To fill the gap left by these discontinued models, Hero MotoCorp is focusing on its upcoming launches. The company recently unveiled three new motorcycles at EICMA 2024: the Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250, and Karizma 250. Additionally, the Destini 125 scooter, which was showcased earlier this year, is expected to be launched soon.
