Brixton Motorcycles, in collaboration with KAW Veloce Motors, has unveiled the Crossfire 500 XC in India, priced at Rs 5.19 lakh (ex-showroom). This neo-retro scrambler is a stylish spin-off of the Crossfire 500X, blending classic aesthetics with modern performance.
The Crossfire 500 XC proudly displays its scrambler heritage with a distinctive design. A high-mounted fender, a short visor, and a headlamp guard add to its rugged appeal. The radiator guard and side-mounted number plates complete the scrambler look.
Powering this retro-modern machine is a 486cc parallel-twin engine, delivering a punchy 47 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. This engine is mated to a smooth-shifting six-speed gearbox.
True to its scrambler roots, the Crossfire 500 XC rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless spoke wheels, shod with versatile dual-purpose tires. Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable KYB inverted forks up front and a preload and rebound-adjustable rear monoshock. Braking is ensured by a powerful 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, both equipped with J.Juan calipers and dual-channel ABS from Bosch.
The Crossfire 500 XC features modern LED lighting all around, enhancing visibility and safety. While it doesn’t have direct rivals, it will compete with stylish motorcycles like the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and the classic-inspired Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
