Brixton Motorcycles, an Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, has made its debut in the Indian market with a range of five two-wheelers, including the stylish Crossfire 500 X. Positioned as a modern-classic roadster, the Crossfire 500 X is a road-oriented sibling of the Crossfire XC scrambler. Priced at Rs. 4.74 lakh (ex-showroom), it offers a blend of classic aesthetics and contemporary performance.

At the heart of the Crossfire 500 X lies a 486cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that delivers a respectable 47 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. This powerplant is paired with a smooth-shifting six-speed gearbox. With a kerb weight of 190 kg, the Crossfire 500 X is lighter than the popular Royal Enfield Classic 350, promising agile handling. The 13.5-liter fuel tank ensures ample range for long rides.

The bike’s classic appeal is enhanced by its 17-inch spoke wheels wrapped in road-oriented Pirelli tires. Suspension duties are handled by adjustable Kayaba upside-down forks up front and a monoshock at the rear, ensuring a comfortable and controlled ride. Braking performance is provided by single disc brakes on both wheels, assisted by J.Juan calipers and Bosch ABS for added safety.
