Brixton Motorcycles has introduced its latest offering in India, the Cromwell 1200 X, priced at Rs 9.10 lakh (ex-showroom). This scrambler motorcycle is a rugged and adventurous variant of the classic Cromwell 1200.

The Cromwell 1200 X retains the iconic fuel tank, lighting setup, and side panels of its standard sibling. However, it distinguishes itself with a textured fuel tank grip pad, higher handlebars, a stylish drilled aluminum throttle body cover, and a ribbed seat, all designed to enhance off-road capabilities.

Powering the Cromwell 1200 X is a robust 1222cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that delivers 82 bhp at 6,550 rpm and 108 Nm of torque at 3,100 rpm. This engine is mated to a smooth-shifting six-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle’s chassis comprises a sturdy cradle frame, complemented by a 120mm travel KYB telescopic fork up front and preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by twin 310mm front discs and a 260mm rear disc, ensuring reliable stopping power. The Cromwell 1200 X rolls on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless wire-spoke wheels, offering a classic look and off-road capability.

In terms of features, the Cromwell 1200 X is well-equipped with all-LED lighting, a modern TFT display, a convenient USB port, traction control, cruise control, ABS, and two ride modes: Eco and Sport.
