Revolt Motors, the Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has made its international debut in Sri Lanka. The company has launched the RV400 and RV400 BRZ electric motorcycles in the island nation, marking its first foray into a foreign market.
To establish its presence in Sri Lanka, Revolt Motors plans to set up a network of 15 dealerships in the initial phase. This strategic move aims to provide widespread accessibility and convenience to customers interested in electric motorcycles.
Following the launch of the RV400 and RV400 BRZ, Revolt Motors is also gearing up to introduce a new electric motorcycle in the Sri Lankan market. The AW1, which is set to be unveiled in India on September 17, is expected to make its way to Sri Lanka as well.
The AW1 boasts a fresh design that sets it apart from the established RV400 range. The electric motorcycle is likely to be offered with two battery pack options, allowing for varying range requirements. The larger battery pack is expected to deliver a range of up to 150 kilometers on a single charge.
Revolt Motors’ expansion into Sri Lanka is a significant step towards its global ambitions. By offering a cost-effective and eco-friendly transportation solution, the company aims to capture a significant market share in the island nation. As the electric vehicle market continues to grow, Revolt Motors is well-positioned to capitalize on the increasing demand for sustainable mobility options.
