Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Gets New Battalion Black Color

Royal Enfield Bullet 350

Royal Enfield has expanded the color palette of its popular Bullet 350 motorcycle with the introduction of the Battalion Black shade. This new option joins the existing Standard Black, Standard Maroon, Black Gold, Military Black, Military Red, and Military SilverRed and Military SilverBlack colors, offering customers a wider range of choices.

Retro Aesthetics and Comfort:

While the Military Black and Battalion Black color codes may appear similar, the Battalion Black model boasts several updates focused on enhancing its retro aesthetics. One of the notable changes is the adoption of a lower seat design with improved lumbar support. This retro-inspired seat, reminiscent of earlier Bullet generations, is designed to provide increased comfort for longer rides.

Distinctive Design Elements:

The Battalion Black model features a polygonal tail lamp, a departure from the circular tail lamp found on other Bullet 350 color variants. This design choice further emphasizes the bike’s rich heritage, dating back to its first production in 1932.

The Battalion Black also showcases chrome accents on the headlamp unit, suspension, turn signals, handlebar, brake and clutch levers, exhaust pipe, crankcase, and wire spoke wheels. These chrome elements create a visually appealing contrast with the blacked-out rear-view mirrors. Additionally, the bike features 3D badging on the fuel tank and side panels, along with golden pinstriping for a touch of elegance.

Performance and Features:

In terms of performance, the Battalion Black model remains unchanged. It is powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder air-oil cooled engine that produces 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.

The braking system on the Battalion Black consists of a front disc and rear drum brake, with single-channel ABS. Higher variants of the Bullet 350 offer dual disc brakes and dual-channel ABS.

Upcoming Bullet 650 Twin:

Royal Enfield is also working on a new 650cc Bullet model, expected to be named the Bullet 650 Twin. Test mules of this upcoming motorcycle have been spotted frequently, and its launch is anticipated in the coming year.

The Bullet 350 Battalion Black offers a fresh and visually appealing option for enthusiasts who appreciate the classic charm of Royal Enfield motorcycles. With its retro-inspired design elements and comfortable seating, this model is sure to captivate riders seeking a timeless and stylish motorcycle.
