Under the camouflage lies the familiar 648 cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin motor, a proven performer in the Interceptor and Continental GT 650. While we can expect similar power and torque figures, the engine’s character might be tuned to suit the adventure-oriented nature of the Himalayan 650. A six-speed gearbox with revised ratios and a slip and assist clutch are on the cards, promising smoother gear shifts and reduced lever effort.
