Harley Davidson X440

After the successful launch of the technology-packed Harley-Davidson X440 in collaboration with Hero, the two companies are planning to introduce more American models to the Indian market. This collaboration could lead to improved product offerings in the country.

Reports suggest that Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson are finalizing a deal to further their partnership. Locally produced Harley-Davidson models could benefit both companies, with the potential for export as well. Company officials have not yet provided concrete confirmation of this plan.

Currently, Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp offer the powerful, mid-weight X440 motorcycle in the Indian market. It comes in three variants and starts at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom), with the top-end model reaching Rs 2.79 lakh.

At the heart of the motorcycle is an impressive 440cc, single-cylinder BS6 engine that produces a maximum power of 27 PS and a maximum torque of 38 Nm. The X440 boasts advanced features like Bluetooth connectivity with a turn-by-turn navigation system, ABS, and switchable LEDs.
