KTM India has introduced a range of high-performance motocross bikes, catering to riders of all ages. The 50 SX, 65 SX, and 85 SX are designed for young riders, while the 250 SX-F is aimed at adult enthusiasts seeking a powerful and agile machine.
The 250 SX-F, in particular, boasts impressive specifications that set it apart from conventional road-legal motorcycles. Its 249.9cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine delivers a remarkable 46 horsepower and 26.5 Nm of torque. Weighing in at a mere 104 kilograms, this bike offers an exceptional power-to-weight ratio, promising exhilarating performance on the track.
Built on a robust steel frame, the 250 SX-F rolls on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels, shod with knobby tires. The suspension system comprises fully adjustable WP Xact Aer forks upfront and a WP Xact rear monoshock, ensuring optimal handling and comfort. With a towering seat height of 958mm and a generous ground clearance of 343mm, this bike is designed for serious off-road riding.
Additional features like launch control, a quick shifter, and selectable engine maps enhance the 250 SX-F’s performance and rider convenience.
Priced at Rs. 9.58 lakh (ex-showroom), the KTM 250 SX-F competes directly with the Kawasaki KX250, which is priced at Rs. 8 lakh (ex-showroom).
