Royal Enfield Unveils Electric Motorcycle Brand: Flying Flea

Royal Enfield, a renowned motorcycle manufacturer, has taken a significant step into the future of mobility by unveiling its new electric motorcycle brand, Flying Flea. Inspired by the iconic Royal Enfield Flying Flea of the 1940s, this new brand aims to redefine urban and city riding experiences.

The Flying Flea brand will initially introduce two models: the classic-styled Flying Flea C6 and the scrambler-styled Flying Flea S6. Both bikes are expected to be launched in early 2026 and will be equipped with advanced connectivity features.

Royal Enfield’s vision for the Flying Flea brand is to create electric motorcycles that blend classic design with cutting-edge technology. The bikes will be designed for global markets, catering to riders seeking a unique and exciting urban riding experience.

The design philosophy behind the Flying Flea motorcycles is a fusion of retro-futurism, incorporating elements like a distinctive girder fork and a lightweight aluminum frame with a magnesium battery case. The bikes will also feature a central Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) that enables over 200,000 ride mode combinations, ensuring a personalized riding experience.

In terms of performance, the Flying Flea motorcycles will offer seamless acceleration, lean-angle ABS, and easy city and highway riding capabilities. The bikes will also support fast charging, making them convenient for daily commutes and longer journeys.

The company has established a dedicated team of over 200 engineers in India and the UK to develop these cutting-edge motorcycles.
