Mahindra is all set to unveil the pricing of its highly anticipated electric SUV, the XEV 9e, on November 26th, 2024. This electric coupe SUV will be showcased alongside the BE 6e at the Unlimit India event, marking a significant step forward in Mahindra’s electric vehicle journey.
The XEV 9e is built on the new INGLO platform, which will also underpin future electric vehicles from the automaker. It’s essentially an electric version of the XUV700 with a sportier, coupe-like design. The vehicle features a sloping roofline, new LED headlamps, redesigned front and rear bumpers, striking LED light bars, stylish dual-tone alloy wheels, and a closed-off grille.
Inside, the XEV 9e offers a premium and tech-laden cabin. It comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, upgraded seats and upholstery, a modern two-spoke steering wheel, a dominant three-screen dashboard setup, a new gear lever, multiple drive modes, a rotary dial, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, dual-zone climate control, and more.
The XEV 9e will be available with two battery pack options: a 59kWh unit and a 79kWh unit. It will also be offered in both single-motor and dual-motor configurations, delivering power outputs ranging from 228bhp to 281bhp. The electric SUV supports 175kW DC fast charging, allowing it to charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes.
