Updated Jeep Meridian: Bookings Now Open

Jeep Meridian Facelift

Jeep is set to introduce a refreshed version of its popular Meridian SUV in India. The facelift aims to enhance the vehicle’s appeal and value proposition, offering customers a range of new features, design tweaks, and increased flexibility.

One of the most significant changes is the introduction of a 5-seater variant. This will allow Jeep to cater to a wider range of customers, including those seeking a premium SUV without the need for seven seats. The 5-seater Meridian is expected to be priced more competitively than the current 7-seater model.

In terms of design, the facelift will feature subtle changes to the exterior, including a revised seven-slat grille, new front and rear bumpers, redesigned taillights, and new 18-inch wheels. The interior will also receive updates, with a focus on improved materials, features, and technology.

Key features expected on the facelifted Meridian include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 9-speaker Alpine audio system, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The ADAS suite on the Meridian is likely to include features such as lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and emergency braking, enhancing safety and comfort.

While the powertrain options are expected to remain unchanged, with the current 2.0L diesel engine and 9AT automatic gearbox, Jeep may introduce a 2.0L petrol engine in the future, similar to the one offered on the Compass.

The facelifted Meridian is part of Jeep’s broader strategy to revitalize its brand in India. With its enhanced features, improved design, and increased flexibility, the Meridian is poised to attract more customers and strengthen Jeep’s position in the Indian market.
