Tata Motors’ compact SUV, the Punch, is the best-seller in its segment. To cater to customer needs, the Punch comes in petrol, CNG, and electric variants. However, its design is not widely considered to be the best. Reports suggest significant changes are coming to the facelifted Punch.
The front of the Punch facelift gets a new grille, LED daytime running lights, a new hood, and a new bumper. The engine is expected to remain unchanged, which is the current 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. This engine comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox and AMT.
The new Punch will boast a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen console featuring an infotainment system, air purifier, ventilated seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a sunroof. For added safety, it can be equipped with 6 airbags and a 360-degree camera.
Is the new Punch more expensive? Currently, the current price of Tata Punch is between Rs 6.13 and Rs 10.20 lakh. The price of the new model could be increased by around Rs 20,000 or more. The new Punch could arrive for this year’s holidays.
