Mercedes-Benz India has expanded its product lineup with the introduction of two new models: the Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 Cabriolet AMG Line and the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe. The high-performance coupe SUV, the AMG GLC 43 Coupe, is priced at ₹1.105 crore (ex-showroom), while the CLE 300 Cabriolet is available at ₹1.10 crore (ex-showroom).
Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe
The GLC 43 Coupe is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, making it the most powerful in its class with a remarkable 421 horsepower and 500 Nm of peak torque. Mercedes-Benz has integrated a Formula 1-inspired electric turbocharger into the engine, designed to eliminate turbo lag. This marks the first time the AMG GLC 43 will feature the “One Man One Engine” philosophy, which signifies a single engineer’s dedication to assembling the engine by hand.
The SUV is loaded with advanced features, including AMG Ride Control, rear-wheel steering, the AMG Dynamic Plus package, AMG brakes, steering wheels, and dynamic AMG engine mounts. The vehicle also comes with a premium Burmester sound system, offering 710W of output through 15 speakers. The GLC Coupe has always been admired for its striking design, and the AMG variant is expected to heighten its appeal even further.
Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 Cabriolet AMG Line
The CLE 300 Cabriolet AMG Line enters the Indian market as a stylish roadster, perfect for those who want to make a statement of wealth with sophistication. Based on the C-Class, the CLE 300 Cabriolet features a recognizable design, characterized by its two-door layout and a retractable roof that stows away in the boot at the touch of a button. This model will be sold exclusively through Mercedes-Benz’s online platform.
Under the hood, the CLE 300 Cabriolet AMG Line is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, producing a combined output of 258 horsepower, with an additional boost available. Standard features include a Burmester 3D surround sound system, an Acoustic fabric soft-top, and Energizing Air Control with a PM 2.5 filter for enhanced cabin air quality.
