Maruti Suzuki is set to unveil the all-new, fourth-generation Dzire on November 11th, 2023. This highly-anticipated sedan is expected to build on the success of its predecessor, while competing with rivals like the Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
A Fresh Design:
The leaked images reveal a significant departure from the previous Dzire’s design language. The new model boasts a wider grille, sleeker LED headlights, a longer and flatter bonnet, and stylish multi-spoke alloy wheels. The rear end also undergoes a complete transformation.
Interior and Features:
While the wheelbase is expected to remain unchanged, the rear seating area may offer slightly more legroom. The interior is likely to feature a dual-tone color scheme with beige accents. In terms of features, the new Dzire is expected to share similarities with the recently launched Swift, including standard safety features like multiple airbags, power windows, central locking, and reverse parking sensors.
Engine and Transmission:
Powering the new Dzire will be the 1.2-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine from the Z-Series family, delivering 81.58 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. Additionally, a factory-fitted CNG kit is expected to be offered as an option.
Pricing:
The new-generation Dzire is anticipated to be priced starting from around ₹6.99 lakh (ex-showroom), a slight increase over the current model’s starting price of ₹6.57 lakh. A total of five variants are expected to be available: LXI, VXI, VXI(O), ZXI, and ZXI+.
