Mahindra’s new XUV 3XO SUV created a sensation at its launch, and the company is rapidly delivering these SUVs to compete with its rival, the Tata Nexon. Deliveries began on May 26, with a whopping 1,500 units reaching customers on the first day. Bookings for the XUV 3XO opened on May 15, 2024, and an impressive 50,000 customers booked the car within just an hour.
Strong Demand for Petrol Variants

Initial Deliveries Focus on Mid-Range Variants
Currently, Mahindra has begun offering only the mid-range variants of the XUV 3XO. This SUV has a total of nine variants. Customers who have received their vehicles include those who booked the AX5, AX5 L, MX3, and MX3 Pro variants. The base models (M1, MX2, and MX2 Pro) and premium variants (AX7 and AX7 L) will start delivering next month. The delivered variants are priced between Rs 10-13.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Engine and Transmission Options
The XUV 3XO offers three engine options: a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine, a 1.2-liter GDi turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter. Power output ranges from 110 to 129 HP, with torque between 200 and 230 Nm.
Spacious Cabin with Panoramic Sunroof and ADAS Technology
The XUV 3XO boasts a completely redesigned cabin that feels larger and more modern compared to the previous model. The dashboard features a fully digital instrument cluster with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The interior also features a new steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, ambient lighting, a 360-degree surround camera, leatherette seats, and a redesigned center console.
