Mahindra has introduced a new special edition of the Scorpio Classic, called the Boss Edition. This limited edition model features dark chrome styling elements and black seat upholstery, making it a visually distinct option for customers.
The Scorpio Classic Boss Edition is part of Mahindra’s 2024 festive season lineup and is priced between Rs. 13.62 lakh and Rs. 17.42 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It offers a more affordable alternative to the Mahindra Scorpio N and XUV700.
Interior Features and Safety:
Inside the Boss Edition, the dual-tone black and beige dashboard theme remains, but the seats are now upholstered in all-black for a more premium feel. Key features include a 9-inch touchscreen display, cruise control, and automatic air conditioning. For safety, the Boss Edition is equipped with dual front airbags and rear parking sensors. Additionally, it offers a rear parking camera for added convenience.
Powertrain:
Under the hood, the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition is powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine derived from the less powerful version of the Scorpio N’s diesel engine. This engine delivers 132 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. However, unlike the Scorpio N, the Classic does not offer four-wheel drive.
Exterior Enhancements:
The Boss Edition features dark chrome garnishes around the grille, headlights, tail lights, fog lights, and door handles, giving it a more distinctive and rugged appearance.
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic Boss Edition joins other special or limited editions launched for the festive season in 2024. While the exact pricing has not been revealed yet, this edition is expected to attract buyers who are looking for unique styling combined with practical features. With its blend of style, functionality, and affordability, the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition offers an appealing option for those seeking a versatile SUV.
