Jeep India introduces updated Meridian SUV at ₹24.99 lakh

Jeep India has introduced the 2025 Meridian SUV, featuring a minor facelift and several enhancements. Available in four trims – Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O), and Overland – the updated Meridian starts at ₹24.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Under the hood, the 2025 Meridian retains its powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine, delivering 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Jeep claims the Meridian to be one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs in its segment with a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.25 kmpl.

The updated Meridian boasts a refreshed exterior design, highlighted by a redesigned front fascia with new LED headlights and a chrome strip. While the signature seven-slot grille remains intact, the rear features redesigned LED tail lights with satin chrome accents and a horizontal chrome bar.

Inside, the Meridian offers both five- and seven-seat configurations and has been upgraded with premium materials, including vegan leather and suede/vegan leather accents with copper stitching. The cabin is also equipped with soft-touch materials on the seats, dashboard, and armrests, enhancing its overall luxurious feel.

The SUV has received significant tech upgrades as well, featuring a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch full HD touchscreen infotainment system with built-in navigation and wireless support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional features include wireless smartphone charging, multiple USB ports, dual-zone automatic climate control, electric-adjustable front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.

The updated Meridian also benefits from Jeep’s upgraded Uconnect system with GSDP 2.0 connectivity protocol, offering features such as automatic SOS calls, remote engine start/stop, Alexa integration, smartwatch connectivity, and over-the-air updates.

The top-spec Overland trim introduces Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) tailored for Indian road conditions, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind-spot detection, and a surround-view monitor.

Bookings for the 2025 Jeep Meridian are now open with a booking amount of ₹50,000, and deliveries are expected to commence by the end of October 2024.
