The Vespa 946 Dragon Edition has been launched in India for Rs 14.27 lakh ex-showroom. The Vespa 946 Dragon is an exclusive collector’s edition scooter celebrating the Lunar New Year of Hong Kong. There are only 1,888 copies available worldwide, making them quite exclusive.
The Vespa 946 Dragon is based on the Vespa 946 scooter. However, it is visually differentiated from the standard scooter by a new paint job and decals. The entire bodywork is finished in a light gold hue, which extends to the mirrors and tail rack as well as the wheels. The emerald green dragon graphics, which extend from the front apron to the side walls, provide the necessary contrast to this light gold hue.
The Vespa 946 Dragon is only available with a 155cc engine. The scooter features a sheet steel monocoque frame suspended by a single-sided shock absorber at the front and a preload-adjustable shock absorber at the rear. The scooter rides on 12-inch wheels and has 220 mm discs at the front and rear.
The Vespa 946 Dragon is now available for pre-orders at all Motoplex dealerships across India.
