Triumph Motorcycles India is gearing up to launch a more affordable version of its popular Scrambler 400X. This new model, tentatively named the Scrambler T4, will be stripped down of some premium features to offer a more budget-friendly option for riders.
Recent spy shots have revealed key details about the Scrambler T4. The bike is expected to feature a lower-tuned engine, likely with a manual throttle control instead of the electronic one found on the 400X. This change could result in a reduced power output, similar to the Speed T4, which delivers 30.6 bhp and 36 Nm of torque.
To keep costs down, the Scrambler T4 will also lose out on some premium features. The golden USD front forks will be replaced with a standard unit, and the split seat will give way to a single-piece seat. Other changes include a different tail lamp, simpler grab rail, and the absence of rubber tank pads and knuckle guards.
However, the bike will retain its signature design elements, including the headlamp, mudguard, and semi-digital instrument cluster. It may also feature a different alloy wheel design and leaner tires.
The Scrambler T4 is expected to launch in the next few months with a starting price of around Rs 2.40 lakh, making it a more accessible option for riders looking for a stylish and capable scrambler motorcycle.
