Suzuki Motorcycle India has added a fresh coat of paint to its popular scooter, the Burgman Street 125. The new color, aptly named Metallic Matte Black No. 2, is now available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 98,299 in Delhi.
The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has opted for a predominantly matte black finish for the bodywork, giving the scooter a sophisticated and understated look. To break the monotony, Suzuki has introduced maroon accents on the front apron and side panels, adding a touch of contrast and visual appeal.
While the exterior has received a makeover, there are no mechanical changes to the Burgman Street. It continues to be powered by a 124cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 8.58bhp and 10Nm of torque. This powerplant is renowned for its peppy performance and impressive fuel efficiency.
Built on the same platform as the Suzuki Access 125, the Burgman Street offers a more spacious and comfortable riding experience. Its longer seat, ample legroom, and relaxed riding position make it a popular choice among riders seeking a premium scooter.
Feature-wise, the Burgman Street remains competitive with its segment rivals. It comes equipped with a 21.5-litre under-seat storage compartment, a convenient glove box with a USB charging port, and a modern LCD instrument cluster that supports Bluetooth connectivity.
The Suzuki Burgman Street primarily competes with the TVS Jupiter 125 in the Indian market.
