Royal Enfield is set to unveil its highly anticipated Interceptor Bear 650 at EICMA 2024. Based on the popular Interceptor 650 roadster, this new scrambler offers a unique blend of classic design and off-road capabilities.
One of the standout features of the Bear 650 is its two-part exhaust system, which replaces the traditional twin exhausts found on other Royal Enfield models. This design not only reduces weight but also enhances tractability on challenging terrains. Additionally, the motorcycle boasts USD forks and increased suspension travel compared to the standard Interceptor, making it well-suited for off-road adventures.
The Bear 650’s design incorporates scrambler elements such as a distinctive seat and a numbered side panel. It will feature dual-sport tires for added traction on various surfaces and will be equipped with spoked rims (18-inch front and 17-inch rear). The circular instrument console may include modern features like Bluetooth connectivity and GPS, similar to the Himalayan 450.
With an expected price range of Rs 3.4 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom), the Interceptor Bear 650 is positioned as a premium offering within Royal Enfield’s mid-weight lineup. As the motorcycle prepares for its official debut in November, enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating this exciting addition to the brand’s growing range.
