Royal Enfield Classic 650 Leaked Ahead of EICMA

Royal Enfield Classic 650

Royal Enfield is all set to unveil its much-anticipated Classic 650 motorcycle at the prestigious EICMA 2024 motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. However, ahead of the official launch, leaked images have surfaced, giving us a glimpse of the bike’s design and key features.

Design and Styling:

The Classic 650 retains the iconic retro-modern design language that has made the Classic 350 so popular. It features a similar silhouette, with a round LED headlight, a classic fuel tank shape, and a traditional mudguard. The only significant visual difference is the presence of twin pea-shooter exhaust mufflers, adding a touch of retro charm.

Engine and Performance:

Powering the Classic 650 is the proven 650cc, air-cooled, twin-cylinder engine. This engine delivers 47 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. While the engine’s core specifications remain unchanged, it’s possible that Royal Enfield has fine-tuned the engine mapping for improved performance and fuel efficiency.

Features and Technology:

In terms of features, the Classic 650 sticks to its retro roots, offering a simple and minimalist approach. It retains the traditional analog speedometer with a small digital display for essential information. However, it’s likely that Royal Enfield will offer the Tripper navigation pod as an optional accessory. Adjustable levers are also expected to be part of the package.

India Launch and Expectations:

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is expected to make its Indian debut at the Motoverse event in Goa later this month. It’s likely to be priced competitively, making it an attractive option for those seeking a classic motorcycle with modern performance.

With its timeless design, reliable engine, and comfortable riding position, the Classic 650 is poised to capture the hearts of motorcycle enthusiasts and further strengthen Royal Enfield’s position in the premium motorcycle segment.
