Yamaha has unveiled the 2025 Tenere 700, a refined version of its popular adventure motorcycle. This updated model features subtle styling changes, improved ergonomics, and enhanced technology.
Design and Ergonomics:
The 2025 Tenere 700 retains its iconic adventure bike silhouette but boasts a refreshed design. The bodywork has been subtly revised, incorporating new LED lighting elements. To improve weight distribution and handling, Yamaha has repositioned the 16-liter fuel tank slightly forward. The seat has also been redesigned for enhanced comfort.
Chassis and Suspension:
While the double-cradle frame remains unchanged, Yamaha has made refinements to the suspension system. The standard variant now features fully adjustable 43mm upside-down forks with 210mm of travel, offering improved ride quality and handling. The rear suspension gets a remote adjuster for fine-tuning the damping.
Engine and Performance:
The 698cc parallel-twin engine has been updated with ride-by-wire throttle technology, enabling two riding modes: Sport and Explorer. A shorter air intake duct has been incorporated to optimize the torque curve. The six-speed gearbox benefits from new internals, and the clutch cover has been redesigned for reduced rider fatigue.
Technology and Features:
The 2025 Tenere 700 comes equipped with a new 6.3-inch TFT display that provides clear and concise information. A USB-C charging port is included for convenient device charging. The bike also features updated switchgear for improved ergonomics and ease of use.
Pricing and Availability:
Yamaha has not yet disclosed the pricing details for the 2025 Tenere 700. However, it is expected to be priced higher than the previous model due to the added features and technological advancements. Bookings for the new Tenere 700 are likely to commence in Europe early next year.
