Hero MotoCorp has unveiled a stunning new adventure motorcycle concept, the XPulse 421, at the 2024 EICMA motorcycle show. This all-new motorcycle promises to take the adventure segment by storm with its aggressive design and powerful performance.
A Bold New Design:
The XPulse 421 boasts a striking design language, featuring a sharp, angular headlight, a tall windscreen, and a muscular fuel tank. The motorcycle’s tall stance and long-travel suspension, including gold-colored USD forks and a monoshock rear, further emphasize its off-road capabilities. The spoke wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tires complete the rugged look.
Powerful Performance:
The XPulse 421 is expected to be powered by a 421cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, delivering around 43-45 horsepower. This engine, combined with a lightweight chassis, promises exhilarating performance both on and off the road.
Advanced Features:
To enhance the riding experience, the XPulse 421 will come equipped with a range of advanced features, including a TFT instrument cluster, switchable ABS, and traction control. These features will ensure optimal performance in various riding conditions.
A Glimpse into the Future:
While Hero MotoCorp has only revealed sketches of the XPulse 421, test mules have already been spotted undergoing rigorous testing. This suggests that the production version of the motorcycle is not far off. The XPulse 421 is expected to be launched in late 2025 or early 2026, and it will directly compete with the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the KTM 390 Adventure R.
