For a modern touch, the XTEC 2.0 features a unique dual-tone design and a digital display with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to receive calls and messages. This upgrade comes at a Rs 3,000 premium compared to the standard XTEC. Competitors include the Honda Shine 100 (Rs 64,900) and Bajaj Platina 100 (Rs 67,808).

The Hero Splendor is powered by a single-cylinder, 97.2cc air-cooled engine that produces 8.02 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 8.05 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This engine is paired with a 4-speed gearbox, typical for 100cc commuter motorcycles. Hero claims a fuel efficiency of 73 km/l, achieved in part by the Hero i3s start-stop system.
