Bajaj Auto has released another teaser video showcasing the upcoming Pulsar NS400, generating excitement amongst motorcycle enthusiasts just days before its official launch on May 3rd, 2024. This latest glimpse offers a closer look at the bike’s design elements, including the inverted front forks, radiator shrouds, and front fender.
Sharpened Design with Performance Focus
The teaser cleverly addresses the numerous spy shots circulating online with the caption, “Enough of the spy shots!” It then dives into the details, revealing the Pulsar NS400’s aggressive appearance. The radiator shrouds boast a distinctive carbon fiber texture with a brushed metal finish, hinting at a premium feel. Additionally, glimpses of potential winglets near the shrouds suggest the possibility of future customization options.
The front fender design also takes center stage, featuring a matching carbon fiber texture on the sides with contrasting red graphics. The presence of a dual-channel ABS sticker further fuels speculation that the NS400, like its younger sibling, the Pulsar N250, might offer switchable ABS modes. Red rim stickers add a final touch of sporty flair.
Inverted Forks for Enhanced Handling
A significant highlight of the teaser is the clear view of the Pulsar NS400’s gold-colored inverted front forks. Replacing conventional telescopic forks, this setup promises sharper handling and superior rigidity during braking. Inverted forks also enhance cornering stability, translating to a more confident and precise riding experience. This premium component not only elevates performance but also contributes to the bike’s muscular and aggressive visual presence.
Launch Date and Expected Pricing
The official launch date of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is set for May 3rd, 2024. While the exact pricing remains undisclosed, industry experts predict a price tag in the vicinity of Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This would strategically position the NS400 below its bigger brother, the Bajaj Dominar 400 (priced at Rs 2,30,815 ex-showroom Delhi). Once launched, the NS400 is expected to compete with established players in the 400cc segment, including the KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Trident 660, TVS Apache RTR 310, and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.
