Ducati Panigale V4

The wait is over for Ducati enthusiasts as the all-new Panigale V4 has made its grand debut at the 2024 World Ducati Week. This iconic superbike has undergone a dramatic transformation, boasting a sharper, sleeker, and more aggressive design that sets it apart from its predecessor. Let’s delve into the details of this breathtaking motorcycle.

A Design Revolution

The 2024 Panigale V4 is a visual masterpiece. The front end is a testament to Ducati’s design prowess, featuring sleek LED headlights inspired by the Multistrada V4. These headlights, coupled with a larger windscreen, give the bike an undeniably menacing look.

The aerodynamic winglets, now body-colored, are seamlessly integrated into the design, enhancing both aesthetics and performance. A redesigned side fairing, fuel tank, footrest, and tail section complete the aggressive profile. The new LED taillight adds the finishing touch to the bike’s striking appearance.

Enhanced Ergonomics for Improved Riding Experience

Recognizing the demanding riding position of its predecessor, Ducati has focused on improving ergonomics in the new Panigale V4. A redesigned 17-liter fuel tank offers better support during braking and cornering, while the seat is now 35mm longer and 50mm wider for increased comfort. Additionally, the footpegs have been repositioned 10mm forward, contributing to a more relaxed riding posture.

Chassis Refinements for Ultimate Performance

Beneath the stunning exterior, the Panigale V4 boasts a refined chassis. The “Front Frame” now offers 40% reduced lateral stiffness while maintaining longitudinal rigidity, resulting in improved feel and faster cornering speeds. Ducati has also replaced the single-sided swingarm with a new hollow symmetrical swingarm, claiming enhanced mechanical grip and stability.

The Panigale V4 S gets the latest generation of Ohlins electronic suspension, featuring an NPX-30 pressurized fork and TTX36 monoshock. Brembo Hypure calipers, an evolution of the Stylema calipers, provide superior braking performance with reduced weight. Lightweight alloy wheels shod with Pirelli Diablo Supercorse SP-V4 tires further enhance the bike’s handling and agility.

Powerful Engine Meets Euro5+ Standards

The heart of the Panigale V4 is its 1,103cc V4 engine, now Euro5+ compliant. Delivering an impressive 214bhp and 120.9Nm of torque, this powerplant is mated to a six-speed gearbox equipped with a quickshifter.

Cutting-Edge Electronics for Total Control

Ducati has packed the Panigale V4 with advanced electronics to assist riders of all levels. Multiple power modes, ride modes, traction control, wheelie control, slide control, and more are at your fingertips. A new 6.9-inch high-resolution TFT display provides clear information even in challenging lighting conditions.

India Launch and Pricing

Indian motorcycle enthusiasts can look forward to the launch of the new Panigale V4, both in standard and S trims, towards the end of the year. Expect the pricing to range between Rs 28 lakh and Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Ducati Panigale V4 is more than just a motorcycle; it’s a statement of intent. With its stunning design, advanced technology, and exhilarating performance, it’s set to redefine the superbike segment.
