Kinetic Green, a prominent player in the Indian electric vehicle (EV) market, is set to make a significant shift from its B2B model to a broader B2C approach. This strategic move is aimed at capitalizing on the burgeoning demand for electric vehicles in the country.
At a recent media briefing, Founder and CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani outlined the company’s ambitious growth strategy, emphasizing impact, disruption, reach, and scale. Kinetic Green is positioning itself to lead the rapidly expanding green mobility sector in India, driven by its innovative product offerings and strong market presence.
Expanding Product Portfolio and Platform Development
Kinetic Green’s current focus lies in the two-wheeler and three-wheeler segments, both of which are at the forefront of the EV revolution in India. The company has developed two platforms for electric three-wheelers, designed with scalability, efficiency, and durability in mind.
The L3 platform, already gaining traction in the market, is a low-speed electric three-wheeler ideal for city use. It offers a range of configurations, including passenger vehicles, cargo solutions, and custom applications. Notably, the L3 is fully engineered in India, FAME compliant, and comes with both fixed and swappable battery options.
On the other hand, the L5 platform is designed for higher performance and heavier payloads. It features a speed of around 60 kmph, advanced technology like PMSM motor technology, hydraulic brakes, and independent suspension, providing a car-like driving experience. The L5 is equipped with ultra-fast charging capabilities to enhance operational efficiency.
Kinetic Green also plans to introduce new two-wheeler models based on its popular eLuna platform, further expanding its product offerings.
Ambitious Revenue Target
Kinetic Green has set a lofty goal of achieving a Rs 10,000 crore revenue by 2030. This ambitious target is underpinned by the company’s strong market position and the growing demand for electric vehicles in India.
With 60 percent of its revenue expected to come from the two-wheeler segment, Kinetic Green is making a significant bet on this market. The company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction positions it well to capitalize on the opportunities presented by the EV revolution.
As Kinetic Green transitions to a B2C model, it is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of electric mobility in India. With its focus on impact, disruption, reach, and scale, the company is well-equipped to meet the growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions.
