2024 Kia Carnival

Kia prepares to unveil the new Carnival in the Indian market. The fourth-generation Carnival, which was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023 (likely a typo, refer to Kia press releases for confirmation), has also been spotted testing in India. Ahead of its launch, here’s everything you need to know about the new Kia Carnival. Kia has unveiled the exterior photos of the Carnival facelift worldwide.

The new Kia Carnival receives significant design changes, such as a large Tiger Nose grille with chrome elements, vertically placed LED headlights and inverted L-shaped LED daytime running lights. Additionally, the minivan gets black cladding on the front bumper with radar for ADAS.

The MPV gets large side windows for better visibility. The rear doors are equipped with a sliding mechanism and likely have demand sensors. Additionally, the Carnival facelift also gets redesigned alloy wheels, roof rails and side steps. Talking about the rear profile, the MPV comes with a large windshield along with an integrated rear spoiler, inverted L-shaped taillights along with reverse lights and reflectors on both sides. It also has a rear wiper hidden under the rear spoiler.

As for the interior, the Carnival facelift might be slightly taller offering more headroom and will likely support soft-touch door cushions and a dashboard. To add to its appeal, we expect the new Carnival to feature a dual-screen setup, comprising a touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster.

In the international market, the Kia Carnival is powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine and a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine. The new Kia Carnival is expected to continue to be powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine. It produces a maximum power of 200 HP and a maximum torque of 440 Nm. The next Carnival may only be available with an eight-speed AT transmission.

Kia recently confirmed that it will launch the new Carnival in the Indian market; However, the launch date has not yet been announced. The MPV is likely to arrive in India via the CKD route. As for the price, we expect the 2024 Kia Carnival to cost around Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market.
