Hyundai Motor India has introduced the new Hyundai AURA Hy-CNG E, the third model in the brand’s lineup to feature the company’s advanced twin-cylinder CNG technology. Following the success of the Grand i10 Nios and Aura, the AURA Hy-CNG E is offered at an attractive starting price of Rs 7.48 lakh (ex-showroom).

Priced between Rs 7.48 lakh and Rs 9.04 lakh (ex-showroom), the AURA Hy-CNG E is the only CNG variant available with the base E trim. This subcompact sedan comes equipped with a range of features, including front power windows, driver seat height adjustment, adjustable rear seat headrests, and a semi-digital instrument console.

Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole Time Director & Chief Operating Officer at Hyundai Motor India Limited, expressed his enthusiasm for the launch, stating, “The Hyundai AURA has achieved remarkable success since its introduction, capturing the hearts of over 200,000 customers with its blend of style, comfort, and advanced technology. We are confident that this new CNG variant will further enhance the ownership experience for our customers, offering them more options to cater to their diverse needs.”

The Hyundai AURA Hy-CNG E is powered by a 1.2L Bi-Fuel naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. In CNG mode, this powertrain delivers a maximum power output of 67 bhp and a peak torque of 95.2 Nm.

With the addition of the AURA Hy-CNG E, Hyundai Motor India aims to strengthen its position in the CNG segment, offering customers a fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly option within the subcompact sedan category.
