Honda Cars India has officially confirmed that the next-generation Amaze will be launched in India on December 4, 2024. The company had previously released a teaser image hinting at the sedan’s design.
The 2024 Amaze is expected to draw inspiration from the current-generation City, featuring a revised front fascia with all-LED headlights and a single-slat grille. The rear profile is likely to get a new set of LED taillights.
Inside, the cabin is expected to receive a fresh interior theme, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and other features borrowed from the popular City.
Under the hood, the new Amaze will continue to be powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 89 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a five-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
Once launched, the 2024 Honda Amaze will compete with the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and the recently updated Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
