BYD has made its popular Atto 3 electric SUV even more appealing to Indian consumers with a reduced introductory price for the Dynamic variant. This price drop is part of the company’s celebration of its 11-year presence in India.
The Atto 3 Dynamic, now priced at Rs 24.99 lakh, is a significant Rs 9 lakh less than its previous starting price. It offers a range of 468 kilometers on a single charge thanks to its 49.92kWh battery pack.
For those seeking more range and power, the Atto 3 Premium and Superior variants are also available. These models feature a larger 60.48kWh battery pack and offer a range of 521 kilometers. Despite the different battery capacities, all three variants share the same 201bhp electric motor.
Key Features and Performance:
- Advanced Features: The Atto 3 comes packed with features like a panoramic sunroof, a 12.8-inch touchscreen, ADAS, and multiple airbags.
- Impressive Performance: The Dynamic variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, while the Premium and Superior variants achieve the same in 7.3 seconds.
Market Competition:
The BYD Atto 3 competes with other electric SUVs like the MG ZS EV and the Tata Curvv EV in the Indian market.
BYD’s Global Expansion:
Beyond India, BYD has been making significant strides in the global electric vehicle market. Recently, the company introduced a new 800V platform and a LiDAR sensor for its Seal sedan in China. This update also includes a plug-in hybrid version of the Seal.
