Powerful Battery and Long Range
The Ampere Nexus is powered by a robust 3 kWh LFP battery pack with a mid-mounted permanent magnet motor. This combination delivers a 3.3 kW nominal output and a peak output of 4 kW. The scooter offers four ride modes: Eco, City, Power, and Limp Home, along with a reverse mode. The top speed is an impressive 93 km/h, while City mode offers a comfortable 63 km/h. In Eco mode, the Nexus delivers a certified range of 136 km. Additionally, the LFP battery chemistry boasts a 1.3 times longer cycle life and a faster charging time of just 3.22 hours.
Record-Breaking Performance
The Ampere Nexus has already made its mark with several record-breaking achievements. It entered the India Book of Records for the longest electric scooter ride across 10,000 km, a first-ever feat in a single journey. It also set a record for traversing through 115 cities and towns in a single ride.
Further solidifying its capabilities, the Nexus became the first electric scooter to tow a pickup truck weighing 1860 kgs plus two passengers, covering a distance of 2 km. It also holds the record for creating the largest electric scooter brand logo on white sand, measuring a staggering 179.8ft x 95.2ft, achieved at the Dholavira in Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Ampere Nexus arrives as a strong contender in the Indian electric scooter market. Its focus on high performance, affordability, and innovative features makes it an attractive option for families seeking a reliable and eco-friendly mode of transportation. With its impressive range, powerful battery, and feature-rich design, the Ampere Nexus is poised to redefine electric mobility in India.
