Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024: All Set for a Feature-Packed Generation Update

Maruti Suzuki Dzire

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch the much-awaited fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire in India this year. Expected to arrive sometime in the second half of 2024, the new Dzire will boast a comprehensive generational update, similar to its hatchback sibling, the upcoming Swift. Here’s a look at what to expect from the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

Distinctive Design and More Features

The 2024 Dzire will move beyond just offering a larger boot space compared to the Swift. Spy pictures reveal distinct styling cues for the Dzire, including a unique grille, redesigned bumpers, repositioned fog lamps, and sleeker headlamps. The Dzire is also expected to get new alloy wheels, further differentiating it from the Swift.

Feature-Loaded Cabin

Maruti Suzuki is set to equip the Dzire with a plethora of features, potentially exceeding those offered in the new Swift. Based on spy shots, the Dzire might be the first in its segment to feature a 360-degree surround camera and an electrically adjustable single-pane sunroof.

Engine and Transmission

Mechanically, the new Dzire is likely to receive the new 1.2-liter K12C DualJet Z-series naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine will likely be paired with both a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit. Maruti Suzuki might also offer a factory-fitted CNG kit option in select variants for a fuel-efficient driving experience.

Launch and Rivals

The launch of the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected in the latter half of 2024, following the reveal of the new-generation Swift hatchback. The Dzire will continue to compete with popular compact sedans like the Honda Amaze in the Indian market.
