Dongfeng Nissan has officially introduced its latest electric vehicle, the N7 sedan, at the 2024 Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition. This sleek, all-electric sedan is expected to hit the Chinese market in the first half of 2025.
The N7 is the first vehicle to utilize Dongfeng Nissan’s newly developed modular platform, designed exclusively for electrified models. Developed and manufactured in China, the N7 aims to deliver a stress-free driving experience, premium comfort, and advanced intelligent technology tailored for the world’s largest automotive market.
Inspired by the Epoch Concept
The N7 draws design inspiration from the Nissan Epoch Concept, first showcased at the Beijing Motor Show earlier this year. Targeting urban professionals, this medium-large sedan integrates cutting-edge technology into its sophisticated design. With Nissan’s iconic V-Motion design language, the N7 boasts a fluid, futuristic aesthetic. Its dimensions—4,930 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,487 mm in height—are complemented by a spacious cabin made possible by a 2,915 mm wheelbase.
Advanced Technology and Luxury Features
Inside, the N7 offers a high-tech environment designed to enhance connectivity and convenience. The infotainment system is powered by a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 8295P processor, ensuring seamless computing performance for an immersive user experience. The interior blends modern design with state-of-the-art features, making it as innovative as it is comfortable.
A key highlight of the N7 is its Navigate on Autopilot system, developed in collaboration with Momenta, a leading Chinese firm specializing in autonomous driving technology. This advanced driver-assist system aims to make driving safer and more intuitive.
Part of Nissan’s “The Arc” Strategy
The N7 represents a pivotal step in Nissan’s midterm strategy, The Arc, which focuses on accelerating the development and export of new energy vehicles from China. By combining advanced local technology with Nissan’s global standards of quality and innovation, the N7 is poised to meet the evolving needs of Chinese consumers.
This all-electric sedan underscores Nissan’s commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge technology, paving the way for a new era of mobility in China’s rapidly expanding EV market.
