CFMoto, a prominent Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, has made significant strides in recent years. The brand, known for its innovative designs and performance-oriented motorcycles, is now setting its sights on the supersport segment.
At the prestigious EICMA 2024, CFMoto unveiled a stunning concept bike named the “Master of Speed.” While this concept bike is currently a futuristic vision, it showcases the potential of CFMoto’s engineering prowess and their ambition to compete with established players in the supersport segment.
The heart of the Master of Speed is a powerful V4 engine, the CFMoto V.04. This engine boasts a counter-rotating crankshaft and a 90-degree cylinder angle, contributing to its exceptional performance and handling characteristics. With a peak power output of 212 HP at 14,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 114 Nm at 12,500 rpm, the V.04 engine is a force to be reckoned with.
Impressively, the engine weighs a mere 61.5 kg, highlighting CFMoto’s commitment to lightweight engineering. This weight advantage, combined with the engine’s immense power, promises exhilarating performance on both the track and the road.
While the specific motorcycle model that will house the V.04 engine remains a mystery, it is highly likely that a high-performance sportbike will be the first to receive this powerful engine. Additionally, there’s speculation that a super naked model could also be in the pipeline, further expanding CFMoto’s product range.
As CFMoto continues to push the boundaries of motorcycle engineering, the Master of Speed concept bike and its V.04 engine offer a tantalizing glimpse into the future of high-performance motorcycles. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development from the Chinese manufacturer.
