A brand-new Mahindra XUV 700 unexpectedly caught fire while being driven near the Gamma Sector in Greater Noida, leading to a dramatic blaze that destroyed the vehicle. The incident occurred around 5:30 pm when the driver, Manoj, noticed smoke emerging from the car’s bonnet. Acting quickly, he pulled over and exited the vehicle, only to see the fire rapidly engulf the SUV.

Fortunately, Manoj escaped without injury and immediately alerted the fire brigade. Two fire brigade units arrived at the scene and worked intensively for about 30 minutes to control the flames. Despite their efforts, the fire consumed the entire vehicle, reducing it to ashes.

This shocking incident was captured on video by bystanders, and the footage quickly went viral on social media, drawing significant attention. Many viewers expressed concern about vehicle safety, especially regarding newly purchased cars.

While the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, such incidents raise questions about manufacturing quality and the need for thorough safety inspections of new vehicles. Mahindra has yet to release an official statement addressing the situation.
