Tesla Offers Cheap Overnight Charging in Texas

Tesla

Tesla is enticing new Texas owners with a sweet deal on home charging. Those who take delivery of a new Tesla by December 31st can sign up for the Tesla Electric Fixed Plan and enjoy unlimited overnight charging for just $5 per month, or $60 for the entire year. This is a significant discount compared to the regular $15 per month or $180 per year rate.

Powerwall Perks

The benefits don’t stop there. Tesla is also offering an annual $400 credit for each Powerwall enrolled in the Virtual Power Plant (VPP) program. This program allows Tesla to aggregate the energy stored in Powerwall batteries and sell it back to the grid, providing a steady income stream for homeowners.

Eligibility and Fine Print

To be eligible for these offers, you must live in a part of Texas where you can choose your electricity provider and be a new Tesla Electric member. It’s worth noting that these offers are subject to change.

Additional Charging Options

For those who want more flexibility, Tesla offers the Electric Dynamic Plan. This plan provides EV charging for $25 per month with month-to-month contracts and real-time pricing adjustments.

Tesla Electric: A Greener Choice

Tesla Electric sources its power from 100% renewable energy and offers a fixed-rate plan with off-peak pricing for overnight charging. Additionally, homeowners with solar panels can sell excess energy back to the grid at a competitive rate, further reducing their energy costs.

This new initiative from Tesla is a compelling offer for Texas EV owners, providing significant savings on home charging and encouraging the adoption of renewable energy.
