KTM has unveiled the 2025 version of its popular 790 Adventure, bringing a host of updates to the mid-weight adventure motorcycle. The new model boasts a more aggressive design, improved suspension, and a refined engine.
A Rally-Inspired Design
The 2025 790 Adventure draws inspiration from KTM’s rally racing heritage, particularly the 450 Rally. The new bodywork gives the bike a more aggressive and off-road-focused appearance. It will be available in two striking color options: orange and white.
Upgraded Suspension
One of the key improvements for the 2025 model is the suspension system. KTM has borrowed the 43mm WP Apex open cartridge forks from the 890 Adventure, known for their superior off-road performance. These fully adjustable forks offer precise control over preload, compression, and rebound damping.
Engine Refinements
While the 799cc parallel-twin engine retains the same power output, KTM has introduced new throttle bodies with integrated knock sensors. This allows the engine to run on lower-octane fuel without compromising performance.
India Launch Potential
With the recent launch of the 890 Adventure R in India, there’s speculation that KTM might also introduce the 790 Adventure to the Indian market. The 790, with its more affordable price tag, could attract a wider range of riders and further strengthen KTM’s position in the Indian adventure motorcycle segment.
