To mark the 112th anniversary of Škoda’s participation in the Rallye Monte Carlo, Škoda Auto India has introduced the all-new Slavia Monte Carlo edition in India. Additionally, the company has expanded its offerings with a new Sportline range within the Kushaq and Slavia line-ups, and has unveiled an exclusive promotional offer for these models, enhancing value and variety for Indian customers.

Special Anniversary Offer

In celebration of the 112th anniversary of Škoda’s debut at Rallye Monte Carlo, Škoda Auto India is offering special benefits for customers purchasing the sport-inspired Monte Carlo and Sportline editions of the Kushaq and Slavia. The first 5,000 customers to book any of these four models will receive benefits worth ₹30,000. This offer is available immediately and is valid until September 6, 2024.

Monte Carlo Design Highlights

The Slavia Monte Carlo edition is powered by the reliable 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI engines. The 1.0 TSI engine is paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, while the 1.5 TSI engine is coupled with a seven-speed DSG gearbox, sending power to the front wheels. The Monte Carlo edition is available in exclusive Tornado Red and Candy White colors, both featuring a contrasting Deep Black roof. The car’s exterior is enhanced with an all-black Window Garnish, black ORVMs, and blacked-out elements on the Radiator Grille Surround, Fog Lamp Garnish, and R16 Alloy Wheels.

Additional Monte Carlo features include badges on the front fenders, darkened taillights, black spoilers on the front and side skirts, a rear black sporty diffuser, a black bumper garnish, and dark chrome door handles. The exterior lettering on the Slavia Monte Carlo is also black, completing the sleek, sporty look.

Monte Carlo Interior Details

Inside, the Slavia Monte Carlo edition features an all-black sporty cabin with a Monte Carlo Red Theme. The Décor Frame, air vents, lower dashboard, center console décor, and handbrake push button are all finished in black. The steering wheel and gear knob have also swapped their chrome accents for black ones. Red accents add a touch of dynamism, including a red element on the center dash, red-bordered Monte Carlo Leatherette seats, red stitching on the two-spoke steering wheel, and red elements on the infotainment system and driver’s virtual cockpit. The front doors feature Monte Carlo inscribed scuff plates, and the driver is greeted with sporty aluminum pedals in the footwell area.

Sportline Range

Škoda Auto India has also expanded the Kushaq and Slavia line-ups with the introduction of the Sportline variant, responding to customer feedback. This new variant joins the existing Classic, Signature, Monte Carlo, and Prestige trims, offering customers more choice and value.

Sportline Enhancements

The Sportline trims of both the Kushaq and Slavia feature blacked-out design elements similar to the Monte Carlo edition, including taillights, an aero kit, and other details. The Slavia Sportline comes with R16 Black Alloy Wheels, while the Kushaq Sportline is equipped with R17 Black Alloys. Both models also feature LED headlamps and DRLs.

Sportline Features

Standard features on the Sportline variant include six airbags, an electric sunroof, alloy foot pedals, a connectivity dongle, rain-sensing wipers, and an auto-dimming internal rear-view mirror, among others.

Expanded Choice and Safety

With the addition of the Sportline variant, the Kushaq and Slavia line-ups now offer even more options, available in Classic, Signature, Sportline, Monte Carlo, and Prestige variants. All Škoda models come standard with at least six airbags, and the Kushaq and Slavia have earned a full 5-star safety rating for both adult and child safety from Global NCAP. The Superb and Kodiaq models also boast a 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP. With the introduction of the Slavia Monte Carlo and Sportline trims, Škoda Auto India continues to expand its fleet of 5-star safety-rated vehicles.

Monte Carlo Legacy

The principality of Monte Carlo, located in Monaco, has been synonymous with glamour and glory for over a century. Škoda Auto’s motorsport involvement dates back to its debut in the Monte Carlo Rally in 1912. The company achieved numerous victories at the prestigious event over the years. Škoda first participated in the legendary rally with the Laurin & Klement vehicles in 1912, and in 1936, the Popular Sport roadster secured second place in the under-1.5-litre class.

Spirit of Victory

To honor its success at the renowned “Queen of Rallies” and its accomplishments in the World Rally Championships, Škoda Auto launched the Monte Carlo edition in India with the Rapid in 2017, followed by the Kushaq Monte Carlo in 2022. Now, the Slavia Monte Carlo edition continues this legacy, becoming only the third Škoda model in India to bear the Monte Carlo badge in its nearly 25-year history in the country.
