Lexus introduces the latest updates to its 2025 MY lineup in Japan, highlighted by a new special edition for the IS sedan. The IS300 and IS300h now sport the F Sport Black IV treatment, featuring sleek BBS wheels and distinctive black accents.
This fourth iteration of the F Sport Mode Black series showcases new forged alloy wheels by BBS, finished in black, along with black mirrors and smoked chrome accents. Inside, the F Sport Mode Black IV boasts Ash wood inserts, dimpled leather on the steering wheel and shift knob, and Ultrasuede upholstery on heated and ventilated sports seats.

The 2025 Lexus IS500, powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine, offers genuine leather seats in black, white, or red. It retains black mirror caps with a smoked finish but may not be available in the F Sport Mode Black IV trim.
Additionally, Lexus has enhanced the IS300h with an external power supply attachment, allowing car systems to operate with the windows closed via the AC100V, 1,500W accessory outlet.

The lineup maintains its existing powertrain options: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine for the IS300, a hybrid 2.5-liter mill for the IS300h, and the robust 5.0-liter V8 for the IS500, all configured with rear-wheel-drive. The current generation, introduced in 2013 and facelifted in 2017 and 2020, continues to impress with its performance and luxury.

In Japan, the 2025 Lexus IS models are now available for order. Prices start at ¥4,810,000 ($30,700) for the IS300, rising to ¥8,500,000 ($54,300) for the top-tier IS500 F Sport. The exclusive F Sport Mode Black IV edition starts from ¥5,900,000 ($37,700) for the IS300 and ¥6,350,000 ($40,600) for the IS300h.
Lexus also celebrates surpassing 1.3 million global sales of the IS since its debut in 1999, reflecting its enduring popularity and strong market presence.
