Nissan, currently making waves in the Indian market with its compact SUV, the Magnite, is gearing up to expand its portfolio with the introduction of the much-anticipated X-Trail. Set to launch in August 2024, the fourth-generation X-Trail will be available for booking starting July 26, 2024, with a token amount of Rs. 1 lakh.

One of the most significant highlights of the X-Trail is its powertrain. Under the hood lies the world’s first production Variable Compression Turbo engine. This innovative 1.5-liter petrol unit generates 163 hp and 300 Nm of torque, paired with Nissan’s third-generation X-TRONIC CVT automatic transmission. To enhance fuel efficiency and reduce emissions, the engine is complemented by a 12V mild-hybrid system.
