The Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition has landed on Indian shores once again, this time with a refreshed look and additional features. This special edition slots between the Longitude and Limited variants of the popular SUV, offering a unique aesthetic for a limited time.
Priced to Compete
The Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition starts at ₹ 25.04 lakh for the manual transmission variant, with the automatic transmission option priced at ₹ 27.04 lakh (all prices ex-showroom pan-India).
Night Eagle: Dark and Dramatic
The most striking aspect of the Night Eagle Edition is its darkened exterior. The grille, fog lamp bezels, and roof rails get a gloss black finish, echoing the previous Night Eagle models. Blacked-out badges and 18-inch alloy wheels further enhance the dramatic look. The Night Eagle Edition is available in three colors: Brilliant Black, Exotica Red, and Pearl White – all paired with a contrasting black roof for a two-tone effect.
Elevated Cabin Experience
The Night Eagle Edition gets an upgrade on the inside as well. The cabin features an all-black theme with black inserts on the door trims. Functionality gets a boost with the addition of front and rear dashcams, an air purifier, rear entertainment screens, and blue ambient lighting. Passengers can also enjoy the convenience of a panoramic sunroof and wireless phone charging.
Safety First
Safety remains a priority with the Night Eagle Edition, equipped with dual front airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), an electronic parking brake, and a reversing camera.
Powertrain
Under the hood, the Night Eagle Edition retains the proven 2.0-liter diesel engine churning out 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Standing Out from the Crowd
The Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition offers a compelling option for those seeking a premium blacked-out mid-size SUV. It presents itself as a sportier alternative to the Hyundai Tucson and Citroen C5 Aircross, while also serving as a more feature-rich option compared to the MG Hector Blackstorm Edition and Tata Harrier Dark variants.
