Yamaha Unveils MotoGP Editions of R15M and MT-15

Yamaha India has further strengthened its presence in the Indian motorcycle market with the launch of the R15M MotoGP Edition and MT-15 MotoGP Edition. These special editions pay homage to Yamaha’s racing heritage and feature distinctive MotoGP-inspired livery.

Pricing and Availability:

The R15M MotoGP Edition is priced at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the MT-15 MotoGP Edition is available for Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom). Both models will be exclusively sold through Yamaha’s Blue Square showrooms across India.

MotoGP-Inspired Design:

To differentiate themselves from the standard models, the MotoGP Editions of the R15M and MT-15 V2.0 feature a special Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP-inspired livery. The graphics adorn the fuel tank, tank shrouds, and side panels, highlighting Yamaha’s racing DNA and legacy.

Key Features and Specifications:

Apart from the cosmetic updates, both bikes retain the core features and specifications of their standard counterparts. This includes elements like an assistive slipper clutch, traction control, variable valve actuation, upside-down forks, and Bluetooth connectivity. The bikes also feature a color TFT instrument cluster for enhanced rider information and interaction.

Powering both models is a 155 cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 18.1 bhp of power and 14.2 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox for smooth and efficient performance.

Safety Features:

Yamaha prioritizes rider safety with dual-channel ABS on both the R15M and MT-15 MotoGP Editions. This feature provides added confidence and control in various riding conditions.
