KTM has entered the entry-level enduro segment with the launch of the 125 Enduro R, its most affordable off-road motorcycle. Designed to mirror the aggressive styling of the 690 Enduro R, the 125 Enduro R is aimed at aspiring riders seeking to delve into the world of hardcore off-road riding. This compact machine serves as an ideal learning platform, allowing riders to hone their skills before potentially upgrading to larger models like the 390 Enduro R.

Sharing the same robust frame as its larger counterparts, the 125 Enduro R is powered by a 125cc engine. KTM’s recent smaller models utilize a standardized frame with variations in the bolt-on subframe, enabling flexibility in design.

Equipped for off-road adventures, the 125 Enduro R features USD forks with 230mm of travel up front and a WP Apex monoshock at the rear. While the 390 Enduro R offers full adjustability on both ends, the 125 version provides preload adjustment at the rear. The motorcycle rolls on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels shod with Metzeler Karoo 4 tires, ensuring excellent grip on varied terrain. Braking duties are handled by Bybre calipers, a familiar component across the KTM range.

Manufactured by Bajaj at its Chakan plant, the 125 Enduro R will be exported globally. While the 125 Duke is available in India, the 125 Enduro R is unlikely to be introduced in the Indian market due to its anticipated high pricing.
