Yamaha has showcased the Lander 250 at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, piquing the interest of Indian adventure enthusiasts. Currently available exclusively in the Brazilian market, Yamaha has not yet confirmed its launch plans for India, suggesting a potential market evaluation before a final decision.
The Lander 250 boasts a rugged and purposeful design, highlighted by a centrally positioned projector LED headlight, a tall front fender, and extended fuel tank shrouds. The single-piece seat and upswept exhaust further enhance its adventurous character.
Powering the Lander 250 is a robust 249cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 20.5 bhp and 20.6 Nm of torque.
This engine, paired with a five-speed gearbox, is housed within a sturdy double-cradle frame. The suspension setup comprises telescopic front forks with 220mm of travel and a monoshock unit offering 204mm of rear wheel travel. Braking duties are handled by single disc brakes at both ends, complemented by ABS.
The Lander 250 features an LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity capabilities. Available in four striking colors – Matte Green, Solid Red, Matte Grey, and Metallic Red – the Lander 250 is expected to be priced between Rs. 1.9 lakh and Rs. 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) if launched in India.
