At the forefront of sustainable transportation, TVS Motor Company has unveiled a groundbreaking innovation: the Jupiter 125 CNG. Showcased at the prestigious Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, this pioneering scooter marks a significant step towards cleaner and more affordable urban mobility. The Jupiter 125 CNG boasts a unique bi-fuel system, seamlessly switching between petrol and CNG, offering consumers unparalleled flexibility and cost-effectiveness.
While an official launch date remains unannounced, the Jupiter 125 CNG is poised to disrupt the market, reflecting the growing emphasis on eco-friendly alternatives within the two-wheeler segment.
Fuel Efficiency and Performance
The heart of the Jupiter 125 CNG lies in its 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, delivering a robust 7.2 horsepower and 9.4 Nm of torque. This engine, coupled with a CVT automatic transmission, propels the scooter to a respectable top speed of 80.5 kmph. However, the true highlight is its remarkable fuel efficiency. TVS claims an impressive 84 kilometers per kilogram of CNG, while the combined range with both fuels exceeds 226 kilometers.
