Triumph Motorcycles has made a triumphant return to the Indian market with the launch of the all-new Daytona 660. This highly anticipated middleweight sports bike is poised to make a significant impact in the segment, offering a blend of performance, style, and technology.
A Powerful Heart
At the core of the Daytona 660 lies a 660 cc inline three-cylinder engine that delivers a punchy 94 bhp and 69 Nm of torque. This powertrain is shared with the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, but the Daytona 660 benefits from a more aggressive tuning for enhanced performance.
A Modern Chassis
The Daytona 660 is built on a tubular steel perimeter frame with a twin-side swingarm. It features 17-inch alloy wheels, twin 310 mm disc brakes up front, and a single 220 mm disc brake at the rear. Suspension duties are handled by Showa 41mm upside-down forks and a Showa monoshock.
A Tech-Packed Package
The Daytona 660 is packed with modern features, including a color TFT screen instrument console, a ride-by-wire throttle, and three riding modes: Sport, Road, and Rain. The bike also offers the option of a My Triumph Connectivity System, which allows for turn-by-turn navigation, phone and music control.
A Revival of a Legend
The Daytona 660 marks the return of a legendary name in the Triumph lineup. While the previous generation Daytona 675 was discontinued due to emissions regulations, the new model builds on its predecessor’s legacy with a modern twist.
With its powerful engine, agile handling, and advanced features, the Daytona 660 is sure to appeal to sports bike enthusiasts in India. Its competitive pricing and strong brand presence make it a compelling option in the middleweight sports bike segment.
